DrReed_ThumbDr. Charles Reed, MD grew up in Mittie, Louisiana, a community in Allen Parish. He is married to Laura Jenkins Reed, from nearby Oberlin, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University and his MD from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. He completed his Residency in Family Practice at the W.O. Moss Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dr. Reed has been board certified in Family Practice since 1988, the same year that he and his family made their home in Winnsboro, where he established Winnsboro Medical Clinic.
JeremyRollinsJeremy Rollins is also a Nurse Practitioner with local roots. He is married to Kristi Smith Rollins, and they and their three boys reside in Winnsboro. Jeremy graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Northwestern State University with his Master of Science in Nursing. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is certified by the American College of Nurse Practitioners. Jeremy also has a special gift for treating children, evidenced by his long-time involvement in the KIDMED program at Winnsboro Medical Clinic.
LindaAllenLinda Plunk Allen of Winnsboro, the wife of Gary Allen of Mangham, has been a Nurse Practitioner at Winnsboro Medical Clinic longer than any other. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeast Louisiana University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Grambling State University. Her accreditation is through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Linda focuses her patient care on adults and the elderly as well as staying abreast of the changes related to general compliance and quality improvement.
ClayNicholsClay Nichols, the newest addition to Winnsboro Medical Clinics team of Nurse Practitioners, is also a local resident with his wife Alaina Wallace. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and his Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University. He is accredited by the American College of Nurse Practioners and has particular interest in adult care and emergency care.
Paula Griffing is the first nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics to come to Franklin Parish. She completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Grambling State University in May 2011. Paula is originally from Winnsboro and is married to Jarred Griffing and has one son named Gavin.
